2024年にベルギーのINSTRUCTORとデンバーのDIRECT THREATが行った合同ツアーがあった。そこで、DIRECT THREATのRiverが数年前に書いた数曲に触発され、INSTRUCTORのVo.、 Darioがフランス語でアプローチするプロジェクト・バンド”GARE DU NORD”が始動。
80年代の象徴的なフランスのPunk/Oi!バンド、Warrior Kids、Swingo Porkies、伝説的なCamera Silensの精神とサウンドを引き継いだ4曲入り7"。
この4曲を通じてGARE DU NORDは、神経、不安、自己疑念、そしてそれらを乗り越えようとする競争心といったテーマに触れている。都会で自分を見失い、厳しい現実に立ち向かう物語。

In 2024, there was a joint tour between Belgium's INSTRUCTOR and Denver's DIRECT THREAT. During that tour, DIRECT THREAT's River was inspired by a few songs he had written several years earlier, leading to the launch of the project band 'GARE DU NORD,' with INSTRUCTOR's vocalist Dario approaching it in French. They are inspired by the spirit and sound of iconic 1980s French Punk/Oi! bands such as Warrior Kids, Swingo Porkies, and the legendary Camera Silens. Through these four songs, GARE DU NORD touches on themes of nerves, anxiety, self-doubt, and the competitive drive to overcome them. It's a story of losing oneself in the city and facing harsh realities.
