ポートランド産KBDパンクのモンスターがついに正規リイシュー! オリジナルは、現在最も人気のあるシングルの一つである。
オリジナルは1980年にGreg SageのTrap Recordsからリリースされた。
The Stiphnoydsの4人のメンバーは1977年頃にオレゴンで一緒に音楽を演奏し始めた。1978年までに、彼らはポートランド近郊で利用できる数少ない小さなクラブで演奏し、The Alternative Arts Associationに加入した。1979年、The WipersのGreg Sageがバンドを引き取り、「Afraid Of The Russians」というタイトルの最初で唯一の7インチを制作するのを手伝った。バンドはGreg SagesのHistory Of Portland Punkにも掲載されている。
パシフィック・ノースウエスト・パンク・ロックの歴史において重要な位置を占める、大きな影響力を持つバンドである。

Finally a proper reissue of this Portland KBD Punk monster! The original is one of the most sought after singles nowadays.
Originally released in 1980 on Greg Sage's Trap Records.
The four members of The Stiphnoyds started playing music together in Oregon around 1977. By 1978, the group had played the few small clubs available in nearby Portland and joined The Alternative Arts Association. In 1979, Greg Sage of The Wipers took the band under his wing and helped them produce their first and only 7" entitled "Afraid Of The Russians". The band also appeared on Greg Sages' History Of Portland Punk.
Highly influential The Stiphnoyds are an important part of Pacific Northwest punk rock history.
