1980年、イギリスのWiganで結成されたアナーコ・パンク・バンド、The System。
1981年7月に地元のパブの駐車場で初ライブを行うが、警察が介入するなど散々な目に。
Flux of Pink Indiansと共演し、彼らのレーベル「Spiderleg Records」から2枚のシングルを1982年と1983年にリリースし、一緒にツアーを行った。
CRASSとの関係も深く、彼らのGIGにCRASSがシークレットで出演することもあった。
1983年に解散するが、何度か再結成を繰り返す。
こちらは2014年に彼らの地元、イギリスのケントでのライブ音源14曲を収録したライブ・アルバム。
ダークなアナーコ・サウンドで、ピュアなエナジーに満ちたその音塊は緊張感に溢れている。

Anarcho-punk band The System formed in Wigan, UK, in 1980.
They played their first show in a local pub car park in July 1981, but were disrupted by police intervention.
They played with Flux of Pink Indians, released two singles on their Spiderleg Records label in 1982 and 1983 and toured together.
They also had a close relationship with CRASS, and CRASS had made secret appearances at their GIGs.
The band broke up in 1983, but reunited several times.
Here is a live album of 14 tracks recorded live in their hometown of Kent, UK, in 2014.
The band's dark anarcho sound is full of pure energy and their sound mass is full of tension.
